MEET CITLALI
Citlali B. Pérez is a law clerk at Heyer Gutierrez, LLP. She is currently a third-year law student at University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law where she is pursuing a J.D. with a concentration in Capital Lawyering. In May 2022, she graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in History from Sacramento State.
Born and raised in Sacramento, Citlali attended public schools in the Sacramento City Unified School District. Her love and appreciation for education stems from her family, in particular her mother, a kindergarten teacher who has worked for SCUSD since 1995. In fact, her mother was her kindergarten teacher! She is excited to have the opportunity to work at Heyer Gutierrez, a dedicated law firm whose main objective is to advocate for its clients in the education space.
In her free time, Citlali likes to write creatively, watch TV and movies, sing, and hangout with family and friends. She is a fan of the Sacramento Kings and Formula 1 Racing. She is bilingual and biliterate in Spanish and English.
